E.G we own; 4 small totts bots (dont use to small now), 20 eazymappys (don't use as they leak), 15 mother ease stay dry (use and are excellent), 15 Popilino (use and are very good).
Most people still have nappys that are now to small but if you looked at our ownership of 50 nappys at on average £6.50 each that looks expensive and would put a lot of people off. £350 before wraps, bossters, buckets etc.
Can't see how to vote (maybe I have to log in?) but I have 37. That includes 4 that are now too small (keeping them in case I have another baby), and 8 terry squares. Only 5 are size 1s, the other 20 should fit right up to potty training. Most are second-hand, probably cost about £4 each on average, so that's about £150 in total... so far!
Actually I didn't pay for the terry squares as they came from my mum - have already been used for me and my three sisters!
Also 8 stuffables (5 Nature Babies, 3 Fuzzi Bunz).
i have about 35, but most of them are flat prefold types that i bought for my first baby and HATED as they leaked like no-body's business, since then i've gradually bought more shaped ones so i alternate between about 10 using my prefolds as boosters or stuffing
