I hope you like this messageboard and find it easy to use.
Please post any questions and I will try to answer them. And if you are a cloth user yourself please feel free t...

Why do people like white nappies
(Preview)
I mean they are nice when they are new and clean, but they need quite a bit of maintenance to stay that way and mostly end up grey, especially if you don't use soap powder with bleach in it like Fairy non-bio or something.
I use an eco-ball, and it makes colours look fab, which is why I do like my coloured na...

What's the point of medium nappies??
(Preview)
I think my son went pretty much from small prefolds into large nappies, or size 2's. I had a few mediums, which he still fits, in fact it is possible that some mediums are the same size as size large.
Has anyone bothered with medium sized nappies or did you just go small - large?
How much wear did your me...

Try before you buy.
(Preview)
I don't think you should use reviews to make a purchase decision. All babies are different sizes and wet to different degrees, something that might suit one person wont necessarily suit you and your baby even if 4000 women think it's"THE BEST NAPPY EVER" YOu could end up spending money an...

Microfibre Nappies - are they too bulky
(Preview)
I was looking at the tots bots fluffle the other day, and whilst thinking it was a lovely fabric, I also felt the nappy was far too bulky. I have microfibre cloths, which, admittedly, are less soft and fluffy, but they are slim and can absorb lots of liquid. What is the point of a nappy that big, when you can...

Which is the best wrap?
(Preview)
I love wool and I used to use Bummis SWW for slimness on occasion. I just don't like plain white wraps and I think that Tommy Tippee have ruined cotton bottoms wraps by making them white with pastel patterns. So how do you get the combination of lovely patterns, reliability and breathability - is it poss...

Would you have all patterned/coloured nappies?
(Preview)
I do like coloured and patterned nappies, but I don't know if I would want only patterned. It's nice to have a beige nappy or a white terry nappy, for a change. Hmmm

What are the dimensions of Cotton Bottom nappies?
(Preview)
Hi,
I recently bought some cottom bottom nappies at an NCT nearly new sale. I know these nappies come in 3 different sizes but I don't know what size mine are. Could someone measure the different nappy pads and let me know the dimensions please. Many thanks.

Do real nappys have negatives
(Preview)
I dont find washing them a chore and through the summer drying was not to bad either.
However they are more bulky so trousers dont fit to well, if they do fit they are very long in the leg to fit the lap.
He was slower to start to sit than other babies. We tried disposables one per day for 2 weeks at play tim...

Did you put little nappies on your newborn
(Preview)
I started out with newborn and small prefolds and newborn and small cotton bottoms wraps and I was obsessed with keeping the nappies as trim as possible for my teeny son (he was three weeks early).
I hated when we went up a size and he was at the bottom of the size range on the nappy, because they went up to...

Do all white wool wraps stain?
(Preview)
I am a bit disappointed in my bumpy wool wraps, they are lovely to use and very slim, but they seem to stain brown quite easily. I also have a disana velcro wrap and a couple of popolini wool wraps, but they seem to be OK.
Has anyone else had stains on their wool wraps?

Babies use cloth nappies to break their fall
(Preview)
My son always used to descend with a bang whenever he sat down, just because he was wearing cloth and it softened his fall.
Now he is potty training and 'nakeybums' most of the day he is much more careful.

Nappy Sizing
(Preview)
Is it just me or has anyone else noticed that quite a few nappies seem to vary in size even when they are supposed to be the same size.
Quite a few people have commented on the fact that their size 2 Bamboozles differ in size, why is this?
I have noticed quite a few comments on this with Fuzzi bunz, and I de...

How Did you Choose Your Nappies
(Preview)
I thought that this might help new people who are currently researching the type and brand of nappy they will buy. I personally assessed my washing facilities, drying facilities and budget. At the time we only had a washing machine with 800 speed spin, plus a couple of clothes horses and an outside lin...
